Basic Training

The majority of credentialing boards now allow basic training hours to be gathered by distance learning.  This can prove to be a quick and efficient method for completing the educational requirements for an entry-level credential.  Most states require 270 hours of training for this, though some require more, some less.

Before you begin gathering basic training hours, we strongly encourage you to first email us at basictraining@dlcas.com.  Give us your name and the state where you live, and we'll send you more detailed information about the curriculum that best fits your needs, along with the information on what your particular state will allow.  We'll also provide you information about a variety of discount plans that will help make your training more affordable. 

DLCAS.com has worked to develop curriculum outlines to meet the needs of most states.  We have created a basic, 270-hour training, a 135-hour training for those states that allow only 50% of basic training hours by distance learning, as well as unique curriculums to meet the specific requirements found in certain states.  You can view these curriculums clicking one of the following links:
