Pathological Gambling Coursework

The Distance Learning Center for Addiction Studies (DLCAS) is pleased to partner with The North American Training Institute (NATI) to offer up to thirty (30) hours of quality course work related to pathological gambling.
NATI now offers DLCAS.com students five excellent courses, fully approved by all of DLCAS.com’s approval agencies. The Pennsylvania Certification Board recognizes the NATI courses towards fulfillment of the educational requirement for the Certificate of Competency in Problem Gambling.

Course Format:
The interactive online courses provide an on-demand opportunity for mental
health care providers and addictions professionals to develop advanced skills to
effectively diagnose and assess the pathological gambler, provide individualized
treatment, and define the necessary components for effective development of a
gambling treatment program. The courses are audio-based with PowerPoint slides
and a training manual. Participants download the manual which follows the audio
lecture and the PowerPoint slides shown on the computer screen. Each course
requires the participant to complete online written assignments,
post-exams and evaluations, similar to a live classroom format. To view a

Upon fulfillment of course requirements, a certificate of completion is issued jointly by the Distance Learning Center for Addiction Studies and The North American Training Institute.
