bodies, as well as other
credentialing body approvals for our distance learning courses. We
maintain regular contact with the approval bodies in all 50 states - please check
back frequently if you don't see your state listed. We also work
to obtain approval from many of the other credentialing bodies for counseling
professionals - if you have a group you'd like us to explore please contact

(initial) credentialing.
They require a 315 hour program for the initial credential of which 270
educational hours can be obtained through approved distance learning
programs.
The
30-hour Clinical Supervision course is approved by the California
Board and will be accepted for the Clinical Supervision Credential training
requirement.
DISCLAIMER
The online addiction counselor courses offered by DLCAS.com partially
fulfills the educational requirements for initial credentialing for
Alcohol and Drug Counselors by the California Certification Board of
Alcohol and Drug Counselors (CCBADC) (270 of the 315 hour requirement).
Candidates are also required to complete a 45 hour Practicum and a 255
hour Internship as required by CCBADC. DLCAS does not provide the
aforementioned practicum or externship. It is the student's
responsibility to meet the requirements of certification by the CCBADC.
