Here at the Distance Learning Center, LLC we are committed to providing our customers and partners with world-class support and products. Given the ever-changing situation surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) we wanted to alert you to some potential changes that could affect certain support channels in the coming days/weeks.
Due to the uncertainty of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the Distance Learning Center for Addiction Studies (DLCAS.com) and ReadyToTest.com are faced with many of the same problems confronting workplaces. Though we provide our services by way of distance learning, we still must confront the issues of keeping our staff and vendors safe, much like the whole of our country. Many of our staff are dealing with no school for their children, and the same goes for our print production centers, mail room, and call center, among other issues.
The benefit of distance learning is that it can be accomplished in spite of such issues – however, where we are impacted is in the day-to-day operations of our phones, mail room, and print operations. We are working diligently to maintain all of these operations, but will be faced with some delays and slow-downs due to staff working away from our offices and our vendors keeping staffing levels low during this time.
Please do not hesitate to order coursework or study guides from our programs, but do realize that if you have questions or need assistance, email will be the best opportunity for us to take care of your needs. Additionally, the mailing of hard copy courses and study guides may be delayed from our normal one business day response service.
Our staffing will be kept to a minimum at the office; but with staff working from home, we will check emails routinely and make every effort to respond to any questions or needs in a timely fashion. So please direct such things to this email – email@example.com in the coming days and weeks.
